Auxiliary Awards First Betty Lue Hill Scholarship

Julie Rinaldi Fuller, RN in the Cancer Care Center, is the first recipient of the Betty Lue Hill Endowed Scholarship awarded by the BCH Foundation. She and Leo Hill were honored at the Scholarship Reception hosted by the BCH Auxiliary. Leo Hill was present for the award of the scholarship he established to honor his wife, Betty Lue, and in appreciation of the care she received from BCH.

The scholarship is earmarked for an RN or respiratory therapist. Ron Secrist, President of the BCH Foundation, displayed the plaque that will be mounted in the hospital to honor Julie and future recipients of the scholarship.

Ron Secrist, President of the BCH Foundation, recognizes Julie Rinaldi Fuller, a BCH RN, as the first recipient of the Betty Lue Hill Endowed Scholarship as Leo Hill looks on.

Lan Zeckser,  BCH Auxiliary Scholarship Chair, said, "It is easy to understand why the Auxiliary chose Julie for this first award. Being a cancer survivor herself, she is passionate about nursing and takes her job very seriously. We all wish her the best in her continued health care education." Julie is studying a Master's in Health Administration at Regis.
