BCH Auxiliary Starts Busy Year
Boulder Community Hospital (BCH) Auxiliary is busy at home and abroad. We sent eight members to the Spring Conference at St. Joseph’s Hospital on April 11.
There were many competitors for the Auxiliary’s annual scholarships 10 high school applicants,
13 BCH applicants, and nine former awardees. Successful applicants will be feted at the Annual Scholarship Tea on May 16th.
We are excited about plans for the Tisone Cancer Center, the Auxiliary decided to underwrite cancer research in Boulder in two important ways. First, the new Oncology Research Center will be known as the BCH Auxiliary Oncology Research Center. Second, the Auxiliary will raise funds to help support the Colorado Cancer Research Program. Through this program, BCH and the Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers match individual patients with cutting-edge clinical trials around the nation. Funds to support these efforts will come from two major events: the black-tie Evening in Marrakech on May 20th and the 25th Annual Fashion Show on November 18th.
