“Boulder Busts Cancer” is a fundraiser to increase breast cancer awareness and funding for the Boulder Community Hospital Auxiliary 's Breast Cancer Treatment Fund. Please partner with us to support our efforts to assure that no patient goes without diagnostic care at Boulder Community Hospital.

DID YOU KNOW … Every three minutes a woman in the U.S. is diagnosed with BREAST CANCER

• Nearly a quarter of these women are under the age of 50!
• In Colorado 1 in 7 women will develope breast cancer in their lifetime, 1 in 8 in the U.S.
• The American Cancer Society estimates 27% of women diagnosed do not have health insurance.

SHOCKING STATISTICS… Of newly diagnosed women at Boulder Community Hospital  the ages at diagnosis are: 25% of women are in their 40’s, 30% in their 50’s and 23% in their 60’s.  There were 200 new cases of breast cancer diagnosed at BCH in 2010.   

Boulder Community Hospital is the best place to get better.  The best diagnostic tools are right here as Boulder Community Hospital was the first to bring digital mammography and the cutting-edge breast-specific gamma camera to our community. 

Join us at “Boulder Busts Cancer” to increase breast cancer awareness and funding for the Boulder Community Hospital Auxiliary “s Breast Cancer Treatment Fund.

Established in 2000, the Fund helps the underinsured or uninsured patients who cannot afford the necessary diagnostic services and procedures after a suspicious or positive mammogram. In the past 10 years, the Fund has provided of 500 breast cancer patients with more than $500,000 of care at BCH.

BCH Auxiliary is an all-volunteer organization with a mission to raise money to enhance patient care.  With no administrative costs and very low overhead, proceeds from “Boulder Busts Cancer” will directly benefit breast cancer patients.
