COMMUNITY HOSPITAL AUXILIARY

Seven graduating high school seniors received scholarships
from the Boulder Community Hospital Auxiliary on May 8th at a
reception held in their honor. Each recipient will be attending a Colorado college/university with
Human Health Care careers as their goals. They will share a total of $49,850 with 21 other recipients, who include
12 BCH employees and 9 former recipients.

Twelve Boulder Community
Hospital employees are among the 28 recipients who received scholarships from
the BCH Auxiliary. These
employees, along with 7 High School seniors and 9 former recipients, received a
total of $49,850 from the Auxiliary. Each will be pursuing/continuing their human health care education at a
Colorado college/university. Scholarship winners and their families were honored at a Scholarship
Reception on May 8th.

College Volunteer of the
Year was also awarded to Zoe Johnson,
2008 Fairview High School graduate. Zoe was awarded an additional scholarship for her 375 hours of volunteer
service at Boulder Community Hospital since 2004.
Two additional special
scholarship awards from the Boulder Community Hospital Foundation were given to
3 individuals. The Betty Lou Hill
Award was give to Camille Moore, BCH employee. The Pat Shoemaker award was given to Tara Page, Boulder High
School senior and Katherine Diggins, BCH employee.
